Housekeeping is a job that can't be put off. We have to do it, and it's up to each individual to be their own job housekeeper. When you see something lying around where it could trip an individual or fall on them, put it in a safe place. Don't wait for someone else to do it.

Digging Around Utilities

Accidentally striking an underground utility such as gas, water, cable, phone lines, fiber optics, and electrical can be deadly. At a minimum, it can cost your company thousands of dollars in delays and repair costs. There is no "depth requirement" and removing even one shovel-full can put you at risk.

Temporary Heat Safety

Temporary heating devices are a vital part of being able to work effectively in cold weather. They allow temperature-critical work to continue on schedule and provide for more comfortable working conditions. However, poor selection and careless use of portable heaters can lead to burns, fires, explosion, carbon monoxide poisoning, and the creation of oxygen deficient atmospheres.
